97 Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when the team of consultants invited to draw up a development plan for the forestry industry in May 1994 will produce its report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7305/96]

The consultant's report was received in July 1995 and has been used as a basis for preparation of the strategic plan for the development of the forestry sector in Ireland, which I would hope to submit for Government approval within the next month.
