231 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the number of BTE cards that have not issued in each district veterinary office in view of the CPSU industrial action. [9826/96]

Owing to industrial action by members of the Civil and Public Services Union it is not possible currently to provide the information requested.

232 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the number of blood test reports that have not issued from his Department's haematology unit in Cork in view of the CPSU industrial action. [9827/96]

Owing to industrial action by members of the Civil and Public Services Union, some 240,000 blood test results have not issued from the Department's laboratory in Cork.
