233 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the current position regarding the extension of the DART to Greystones, County Wicklow; and the time-table for construction of this line. [9456/96]
The Greystones project is one of a package of public transport investments which is being considered for Cohesion Fund assistance by the European Commission. Work on the extension will commence as soon as funding for the project has been formally approved by the Commission and is expected to be completed within two years.
