212 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a leasing consent application will be processed in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that the delay is holding up a REP scheme application. [10821/96]

An application for leasing consent has been lodged with my Department by the person concerned. This application is currently being examined in the context of an application under the REP scheme. A decision on this application will issue to the applicant as soon as possible.
