95 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the provision of a new school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [11999/96]

The school referred to by the Deputy has been included in my Department's 1996 planning programme for national schools. This approval enables the project to progress through preliminary planning. When all the planning work has been completed, a decision on the tender and contract process will be taken in the light of other priorities, and available financial resources.
