Vol. 468 No. 4

Written Answers. - Clondalkin (Dublin) Road.

Brian Lenihan

Question:

329 Mr. Lenihan asked the Minister for the Environment whether he intends to make funding available to ensure the completion of the Fonthill Road in Clondalkin, Dublin 22; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15209/96]

Road grants have been fully allocated this year and there are no funds available to me from which an additional allocation could be made to any local authority. It will be open to South Dublin County Council to consider whether to apply for funding in 1997 to complete this road, under the EU co-financed scheme of grants.
