Vol. 468 No. 4

Written Answers. - Relocation of Stamping Office.

Batt O'Keeffe

Question:

689 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice if she intends to relocate the stamping office from Anglesea Street to the courthouse in Washington Street, Cork. [15942/96]

The location of the court stamping office in Cork city is under review at present. However, I wish to advise the Deputy that in addition to the fee franking machine located in the District Court office in Anglesea Street, there are 17 solicitors in Cork city licensed by me to operate court fee franking machines, 13 of which are located in the South Mall/Washington Street area of the city.
