309 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the amount paid by his Department in relation to publicity and public relations in each of the years from 1994 to date in 1996; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19187/96]

The total amount paid by the Department of Transport, Energy and Communications on public relations and publicity consultancies, in respect of the Ministers' offices, in each of the years from 1994 to date in 1996 is £34,000, £84,000 and £43,000 respectively.
