100 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Health the reason the pneumonococcal pneumonia vaccine is not available free from community care departments of the health boards for administering to at-risk individuals; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20638/96]

Limerick East): Pneumonococcal vaccine is not available free of charge from health boards because it is not part of our national immunisation programme.
