45 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Health if an investigation is being made into the case of alleged sexual abuse of a child (details supplied) while in the care of a foster family approved by the Eastern Health Board; the reason this child has not received counselling to date; the plans, if any, there are to provide such counselling; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have received a report from the Eastern Health Board on this case. However, in view of the sensitive nature of the details in this report, I propose to write to the Deputy on the matter.
