Written Answers. - Youth Services Projects.
Seven new initiatives have been undertaken by my Department in 1996 under the grant scheme for special projects to assist disadvantaged youth. These new projects will provide youth work services for disadvantaged young people in the following areas: Cherry Orchard, Dublin City; Priorswood-Donaghmede, Dublin City; New Ross, County Wexford; Ballybeg, Waterford City; Balbriggan, County Dublin; Mullingar, County Westmeath and East County Wicklow. In addition, support has been provided from the youth information fund to facilitate the establishment of new youth information centres in Roscommon Town and in Bandon, County Cork.
