81 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education whether a school (details supplied) in County Donegal will be able to retain its third teacher in the 1997-1998 academic year; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2736/97]
I am not in a position to state whether the school referred to by the Deputy will retain its third teaching post in September 1997. This is because decisions have not yet been taken regarding the staffing allocations for primary schools for the 1997-98 school year.
However, as soon as the allocations are determined, officials of my Department will review the position of the school in question, and correspond directly with the Board of Management in the matter.
