Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Molloy — chun a fhiafraí den Aire Oideachais aitheantas buan agus foirgneamh buan a chur ar fáil do Choláiste na Coiribe, an Iarbhunscoil lán-Ghaeilge i nGaillimh agus an ndéanfaidh sí ráiteas sa chás; (2) Deputy Gallagher (Laoighis-Offaly)— the urgent need to provide a new Garda station for Tullamore, County Offaly, in view of the risk to the health and safety of the Garda Síochána and the public arising from the condition of the existing station; (3) Deputy Ring — the need to instruct the Western Health Board to appoint a dentist for the Belmullet area, County Mayo, either in a temporary or permanent capacity, in view of the delays in dental treatment for young people in the area; (4) Deputy Killeen — the need to provide secure residential accommodation for a person in County Clare; (5) Deputy Kirk — the difficulties being experienced by deserted wives who apply for inclusion on community employment schemes and are then obliged to opt for the one parent family payment; (6) Deputy Costello — the need to provide statutory protection for listed buildings; (7) Deputy Seán Ryan — the need to address the obnoxious smell emanating from the Loughshinny Shore Station, North County Dublin, which has an effect on the residents and on the children of Loughshinny and parts of Rush, County Dublin; (8) Deputy Shortall — the urgent need to approve Dublin Corporation plans for the redevelopment of the Ballymun Estate, Dublin; (9) Deputy Walsh — the need to pay farmers compensation resulting from BSE and from the two recent green pound revaluations; (10) Deputy Ó Cuív — An tábhacht atá ann go dtabharfar aitheantas buan do Choláiste na Coiribe, Scoil dara leibhéal lán-Ghaelach i nGaillimh, agus go gcuirfear suíomh buan ar fáil don scoil seo; (11) Deputy Dermot Ahern — the unemployment situation in County Louth; (12) Deputy Flanagan — the future of the New Euro Peat Power Station for the Midlands; (13) Deputy Sargent — the need to stop the practice of water fluoridation by local authorities because of its effect on health and the environment; (14) Deputy Power — the future of the New Euro Peat Power Station for the Midlands; (15) Deputy O'Donnell — the delays in effecting court orders and warrants due to the improper use of petitions.

The matters raised by Deputies Éamon Ó Cuív, O'Donnell, Kirk and Joe Walsh have been selected for discussion.
