251 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will grant under regulation 9 of the 1995 milk quota regulation to have 35,000 gallons attached to the holding of a person (details supplied) transferred to his son who has a holding at Ballinaheila, Killeagh, County Cork. [2802/97]

I have no powers under the regulations to relocate a milk quota in the circumstances set out in the application made by the persons in question. However, I am arranging for further discussions between my officials and the parties involved.
