142 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Environment whether there will be a review of both or either the new house grant and the essential repair grant in respect of criteria and finance available; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3622/97]
I have no proposals at present to review the new house grant or the essential repairs grant schemes. Adequate finance is available to my Department to meet the cost of both the new house grant scheme and recoupments to local authorities in respect of essential repairs grants.
