128 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the number of positive samples of mammalian/avian meat and bone meal which have been found in bovine feed compounds from 1 January 1997 to date; and the dates and location in each case. [4707/97]

All samples taken from 1 January 1997 to date which have been tested have been negative for either mammalian or avian meat and bonemeal.
