There are no commercial State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of my Department. There are two non-commercial State-sponsored bodies — the National Economic and Social Council and the Law Reform Commission which were established in 1973 and 1975 respectively.
In addition the bodies listed beneath come under the aegis of my Department: Area Development Management Ltd. — established in 1992; National Statistics Board — established on a non-statutory basis in 1986 and on a statutory basis in 1994; Western Development Commission — established in 1997.
