109 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he will nominate the Rock of Cashel, County Tipperary, for inclusion in the World Heritage Site list; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12172/97]

The Rock of Cashel has been included on a list of potential nominations submitted to UNESCO for acceptance as a World Heritage Site.

It is too early yet to say when a full determination will be ready for submission.
