Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.
The Manorhamilton water supply scheme has been approved to be advanced through planning and design stages under my Department's water and sewerage services work programme for 1997. Revised proposals, including an estimated timetable for the work, are awaited from Leitrim County Council.

Question:146 Ms Keogh asked the Minister for the Environment if an application for cohesion funding for the north Leitrim regional water scheme has or will be made in 1997; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12639/97]
The north Leitrim regional water supply scheme was included in the application for cohesion funding for the Lough Gill regional water supply scheme. However, the Commission decision of July 1996 did not approve the north Leitrim scheme.
