Joe Walsh

Question:

82 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Health the plans, if any, he has to provide national lottery funding for a day-care centre (details supplied) in County Cork. [12491/97]

Limerick East): I propose to take Questions Nos. 81 and 82 together.

In response to previous questions raised in the House on this issue, I stated that I am making available a capital grant of £100,000 towards the cost of a day care centre in Bandon, County Cork. The grant will be paid in two moieties of £50,000 each, the first this year and the second in 1998. This will enable work to commence on the centre this year.
