Vol. 480 No. 6

Written Answers - Garda Patrols.

Tony Gregory

Question:

475 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the steps, if any, the Garda will take to resolve the problems of residents of Oranmore Close, Dublin 10, created by youths congregating there at night time; and if the Garda intend to liaise with Dublin Corporation in this regard. [14495/97]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the area in question is regularly patrolled by local gardaí who have made a number of arrests under the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act, 1994. I am further informed that there is ongoing co-operation between local gardaí and Dublin Corporation.
