I refer the Deputy to my reply to a question from Deputy Barrett on 9 July 1997 in which I indicated that I was considering whether changes in the structure of the development agencies are required. In this regard, I established a small group of senior civil servants from the relevant divisions in my Department and the chief executive of Forfás to advise me in the matter. Consideration of relevant issues in this area is continuing and no decision has been made on any changes in agency structures.
