140 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science when approval will be given in respect of a transfer of a small portion of lands at St Joseph's school, Kilcock, County Kildare to a purchaser (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16003/97]
The solicitor representing the manager of St. Joseph's primary school, Kilcock, County Kildare, sought approval to devest a small portion of the school site.
My Department's building unit examined the proposal and in June 1997. The school manager was advised that my Department is agreeable to the proposed devesting.
The Department has initiated the arrangements for the necessary legal transaction.
