232 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of gardaí in each station in the Dublin Metropolitan Area North Central division who have carried out speed checks in the course of their duties over the past four weeks. [16960/97]
I am informed by the Garda authorities that speed checks were carried out by 23 members from the north central division over the past four weeks.
The detailed breakdown of the number of gardaí in each station who carried out speed checks is not readily available. This information could only be obtained by the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of Garda time and resources.
