193 Miss Fox asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have investigations made into the possibility of granting a motorised transport grant for a disabled person (details supplied) in County Wicklow in view of his need for transport. [17683/97]
The assessment of entitlement to a motorised transport grant in any individual case is for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the application and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
