Question:

258 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the current position regarding the provision of an improved sewerage treatment plant for Moycullen Village, County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22903/97]

A revised proposal for the upgrading of the existing Moycullen sewerage facilities, which was recently received from Galway County Council, is under examination and is being considered in the context of my Department's 1998 water and sewerage services investment programme.
