328 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if his Department has received an application for financial assistance under the recreational amenities grant scheme from an organisation in County Cork (details supplied); and when this application will be considered for funding. An application for funding under the sports capital programme was received from this club, on 19 March 1997.

The 1997 grants under the programme have been allocated and all available funds are now committed to existing projects. Consequently, it will not be possible to consider any new applications until the next round of grant approvals.
