Question:356 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Education and Science if a person (details supplied) in County Galway will be allowed an extra 30 minutes to complete the junior certificate exam in 1998. [22879/97]
Written Answers. - Leaving Certificate Examination.
The application for special arrangements at the junior certificate examination for the person concerned has been considered in detail by my Department. Following this consideration an additional ten minutes will be allowed to the student at each examination session.
I should add that this is fully in line with the special arrangements allowed to any candidate with a similar disability.
