653 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if a copy of the application will be made available to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo where it indicates that her late spouse opted not to join the widows and orphans pension scheme of the spouses and children pension scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. All records relating to the superannuation of local authority staff are maintained by and are the responsibility of local authorities. Any request for a copy of a particular record should be addressed to the local authority concerned.
