654 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his Department will release the Clare County Council proposal for improvements in sanitary conditions at Kilkishen, County Clare in 1998; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1460/98]

Minister for the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Dempsey):

The 1998 water and sewerage services investment programme will be announced on 2 February next. The programme will include details of the schemes to be advanced this year within available resources.
