923 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Education and Science when finance will be made available to proceed with the construction of a new school at Gaelscoil Osraí, Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2013/98]
My Department's building unit is currently progressing the proposed major building project at Gaelscoil Osraí, Kilkenny, through the various stages of architectural planning.
When all the planning work for the project is completed a decision will be taken on the timing of the tender and contract process in light of existing contractual commitments and available capital funding. Officials from my Department's building unit met with representatives from the school last week and outlined the position to them.
