Question:

934 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will confirm that free third level fees apply to mature students in full-time third level education. [2071/98]

Under the free fees initiative, tuition fees are payable in respect of eligible students, including eligible mature students, who are attending approved full-time undergratuate courses, which must generally be of at least two years duration, at approved third level institutions.
