Records of payments made in the years 1990-93 do not enable the separate identification of payments to charities. Furthermore, payments made by my Department in the period 1990 to 1998 may have been to companies or organisations which have a charitable status designation from the Revenue Commissioners, such as local development and local community groups. The identification of the individual companies or organisations is not possible as, in the majority of transactions, it was not necessary to seek this type of information from the companies or organisations.
