205 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will sanction funding for stage four of the Listowel water scheme; and, if so, when he is likely to be in a position to do this. [2574/98]

Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage services investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to advance the scheme.

207 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will release to tender the North-East Kerry regional water scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2589/98]

A partial preliminary report for this scheme has been submitted to my Department. Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage services investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to advance the scheme.

208 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he will approve funding to provide a water supply for the people of areas (details supplied) of north Mayo. [2694/98]

A preliminary report for the Erris regional water supply scheme — extension to the Mullet Peninsula — which will serve these locations has been submitted to my Department. Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage services investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve the scheme.
