121 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the approvals, if any, that have issued under the crop damage compensation scheme for 1997 to individual farmers; if so, when these will issue; and if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will have their case approved. [2507/98]

Claims received by my Department under the scheme of assistance for weather related crop losses in 1997 are currently being examined. Applicants including the person (details supplied) in County Wexford will be informed in due course.
