Proinsias De Rossa

Question:

73 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Taoiseach the changes in household formation between 1970 and 1998 breaking down households by married couples, cohabitation, other multi-person, lone parent and one person. [3801/98]

The information requested by The data is taken from the censuses of population carried out in 1971 and 1996. The most recent census was the first to distinguish cohabiting couples. As no corresponding information is available for the 1971 census, cohabiting couples have been included with married couples in the following table.
