Vol. 487 No. 5

Written Answers - Housing Aid for the Elderly.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

105 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason persons (details supplied) in Dublin 12 have not had repairs to a house carried out under the Eastern Health Board schemes for the elderly, where the inside work remains unattended to, even though the external work was carried out a month ago; and if he will ensure that it is carried out without further delay. [4466/98]

The administration of the housing aid scheme for the elderly in the Dublin area is a matter for the Eastern Health Board.

I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to investigate this case as a matter of urgency and respond directly to the Deputy with the board's findings.
