Government policy in relation to Partnership for Peace has been enunciated in the House by my colleague, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, on a number of occasions, most recently being on 19 February 1998 when he invited a debate on the matter. I concur with his views regarding Partnership for Peace and I look forward to contributing to a constructive debate on the issue in the House in due course.
