121 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the guidelines, if any, his Department has issued internally or to any agency or body in relation to the use of the national flag and the European flag. [6596/98]

The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, as the main tenant, is responsible for issuing guidelines in this regard in respect of the buildings which are occupied by staff of my Department.

As for the use of the national and European flags by bodies under the aegis of my Department this is a day to day matter for the bodies themselves.
