Question:180 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if additional milk quota sought by a person (detail supplied) in County Mayo will be granted. [7383/98]
Written Answers. - Milk Quota.
An application from the person named for additional quota for the current milk quota year has been considered by the milk quota appeals tribunal. The tribunal has not, however, recommended an allocation of quota in this case.
The person named has been notified of the outcome of his application. He may apply again when application forms for the 1998-99 milk quota year become available. The forms will be available after 1 April 1998 from co-operatives/dairies and from milk policy division, Department of Agriculture and Food, Kildare Street, Dublin 2.
