Vol. 489 No. 2

Written Answers. - School Placement.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

147 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will have arrangements made to provide appropriate education for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford in view of the fact that this person has been without education for two months; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7725/98]

I am aware of the case referred to by the Deputy. Arrangements have been made for my Department's inspectorate to liaise between the school and the parents of the person in question in an effort to ensure he resumes his education at the earliest possible date.
