Written Answers. - Educational Projects.
The provision of capital funding for this project will involve a number of Government Departments. I have received correspondence from The Shanty Educational Project relating to the building of An Cosán" in Jobstown, West Tallaght. "An Cosán", a 7,500 sq. foot building, will incorporate an educational facility and an enterprise unit, each of which will be supported by a childcare facility.
I have recently forwarded the proposal to the Eastern Health Board for consideration of the health service related aspects of the proposal. I regret that I am not in a position to comment further at this time. However, on receipt of the report from the board I shall communicate further with the Deputy in this matter.
