Written Answers - Grant Payments.
The application in this case was lodged on 21 April 1998. As the scheme of installation aid is closed to new applicants this application cannot be processed. The terms of a new scheme targeted towards smaller farmers are currently being finalised within my Department.

Question:59 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when suckler cow payments will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath in view of the fact that all documentation has been forwarded to his Department. [9721/98]
The processing of the area aid application will be finalised within the next two weeks and outstanding payments will then issue.
