The entire issue of teacher supply is currently being reviewed within my Department. An integral element of this review is an assessment of future needs.
Senior officials of my Department are due to meet INTO officials later this week. The matter of teacher supply will be discussed at this meeting. The Deputy can be assured that the views of the INTO in this matter will be carefully considered.
