150 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of Garda serving in the Dublin 10 area; and the number serving for each of the past five years for which data is available. [11618/98]
Written Answers. - Garda Deployment.
The Garda authorities are responsible for the detailed deployment of Garda personnel to individual areas. They have informed me that Ballyfermot Garda station is the local Garda station for the Dublin 10 postal area.
The current personnel strength of Ballyfermot Garda station and for the previous four years is as follows:—

Since 31 July 1997, Ballyfermot has been part of the new DMA West Garda Division. Prior to that date it had been part of the DMA South Division.
