Vol. 491 No. 3

Written Answers. - Child Care Centres.

Liam Lawlor

Question:

284 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Health and Children if core funding will be provided for the Ronanstown Community Child Care Centre in Dublin 22, which is a European employment initiative under the NOW programme; and, if so, when the funding will be available in view of the financial pressures on the child care centre. [11825/98]

Core funding of £60,000 has been made available to this centre and this is being paid through the Eastern Health Board. In addition, capital funding of £100,000 has also been made available and the board is dealing directly with the centre in regard to arrangements for payment.
