No petition has been opened on behalf of the person referred to by the Deputy. I wrote to the Deputy some time ago when I acknowledged receipt of an application to open a petition for the person concerned. I advised then that the application was being examined and that I would notify the Deputy in due course of my decision as to whether or not a petition had been opened in the case. No decision has yet been made regarding the application.
