165 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will have arrangements made to have funding approved to allow repair works be carried out to the roof of a college (details supplied) in County Kilkenny without further delay in view of the recent inspection carried out. [16384/98]
Following a meeting between officials from my Department and members of County Kilkenny Vocational Education Committee an inspection was carried out on the roof of the college. A report has been received and is currently being considered within my Department. My officials will be in contact with County Kilkenny Vocational Education Committee shortly in relation to the repairs to the roof. The question of funding will be considered when the remaining stages of planning have been completed.
