I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the stamp duty refund has now been authorised and will shortly issue to the person in question.

Question:270 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Finance if an income tax rebate will issue for seasonal temporary employment to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford; and, if so, when this will occur. [18623/98]
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that following a review of this case the Inspector of Taxes has decided to grant a full rebate of tax paid to the taxpayer. A cheque will issue on Wednesday, 7 October 1998.
