125 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork has not received a 1997 headage payment. [20056/98]

There are a number of plots of land on the area aid application of the person named for the years 1997 and 1998 for which no maps have been received and which require digitising. In order to expedite this matter the applicant should forward maps for all his land in order for both his 1997 and 1998 applications to be fully processed.

The area aid application for the person concerned has been processed. However, an overclaim exists on a parcel of land. The area aid unit will be writing to the person concerned about the matter.
